The Regional Museum in Teplice preserves an outstanding collection of Italian drawing. The Teplice Album comprises works created by the most accomplished proponents of the School of Cremona. Although a part of this ensemble has been dispersed in the recent past, the artistically most compelling portion of the collection is still found in the place where it was deposited by the Clary-Aldringen family ⁠–⁠ its last private owners. An intrinsic part of the ensemble are drawings by Antonio Maria Viani (ca. 1550 ⁠–⁠ ca. 1635). The Graphic Arts Cabinet will display a selection of works by the artist, whose life and work are linked with Cremona, Mantua, and Munich.
