The various landscape elements were grossly devastated during the intensive consolidation of land from the 1950s to the 1980s. These losses - mainly due to various construction purposes - are menacing and irreversible. The disappearance of arable land and landscape is a dangerous trend which also has a devastating effect on the relationship between man and a particular place. These issues have so far been examined very rarely in art projects but new initiatives are appearing now. 

The title of the exhibition - Old Addresses (Ivan Blatný) - refers to the more or less fleeting values that we leave behind, as well as the layers in our consciousness and the memories that particular places imprint in us.
