The altar from Lubina belongs to important monuments of Late Gothic painting in the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. The painting representing the cycle of Joy and Pain of the Virgin Mary is the work of two authors, each of whom created one side of the altar. After the fires and subsequent overburdening, the altar wings were so badly damaged that only a difficult restoration intervention had returned them to their original form and allowed them to be exhibited in the permanent exhibition of the Archdiocesan Museum Olomouc.
