The second monographic exhibition of František Tkadlík ( first exhibition prepared by Vincenc Kramář took place in 1933) introduces in representative cross section his pictorial and drawing work from portrait work to historical canvas and religious painting. Tkadlík was one of the most significat representatives of late phase of Czech classicism and Nazarenism and his work making an essential part of academic painting of early 19 th century was important starting point for developement of art in the era of National Revival in Czech country.
