Luboš Drtina has significantly influenced applied graphics. His precise and unmistakable book, magazine, and other graphic works sensitively reflect the literal value of the title (as seen in his bibliophile edition, which is mostly poetry), and, at the same time, are based on individual opinions formed by his own free creation and artists’ books. This exhibition not only displays a selected overview of Drtina’s existing work, but also presents his creative works with their polysemous nature of graphic elements, signs and images in applied works, illustrations, artists’ books, and autonomous art production.
