The Czech Galleries - The Art News and Reviews portal
provides actual comments and art news, reviews of exhibitions and reflects long-term art trends. Besides of administration of the web portal, the printed Guide to Czech Galleries is published by the editorial staff. Guide to Czech Galleries has been published in two months period since 1998, currently in total amount of 10. 000 prints (6. 500 in Czech language, 3.500 in English language) and is distributed in collaboration with art museums, galleries and information centers all around the Czech Republic.
The Czech Galleries follows the social bussiness principles:
- employing and socially integrating people who are handicapped at work market
- possible income is preferentially used for development of social bussiness and / or for fullfilling publicly profitable goals
- satisfying the needs of local community and local demand as a matter of priority
