A new exhibition of Galerie La Femme is an homage to work by Vladimír Erlebach - in a memory of this artist who died in December 2018.
Vladimír Erlebach (1934 - 2018) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under the guidance of professors Rada and Holý. He began with portraits of famous actors. Till now he has created over two thousand paintings and prints of both - figurative and abstract art. His style is specific for strong color expression, spontaneity and expressive painting. In 1967, Eerlebach emigrated to Germany. He lived for a long time in Wiesbaden and also in Paris. He returned to Bohemia in 1995.
