The great show of Adolf Born in Museu Kampa goes beyond the usual way that the work of this exceptional artist has been presented in the past. The center of gravity is a cross-section of his free creation. Entrance to the exhibition offers a collection of rare lithographs from the 1960s, which have not been exposed as a whole yet. Adolf Born experimented here with expression, composition, applied a simple character, draw abbreviation, or raw playfulness. The unique thing is the collection of pastels and watercolors that demonstrate the artist's imagination, as well as both precise and bold work with color or light. Attention is drawn to the series of ink drawings from his travelling that capture the typical "Born" humorous atmosphere of the places he visited during his wanderings. The exhibition also includes original illustrations of books (including the tales of Mach and Šebest or Chris Morgenstern poems), as well as animated films that have won many awards at home and abroad. A unique world to which it is worth to enter.
