The retro-exhibition of oil paintings, watercolors and drawings by a native of Sušice focuses on the typology of the Šumava submountain landscape, visually conceived in the transposition of figuration towards pure abstraction. Based on an intimate knowledge of the depicted landscape, tied to certain places, the artist strives to capture the "essence of the place", whether in morphological or light-colored sense.
