This year marks the 350th anniversary of the laying of the cornerstone for the Jesuit College in Kutná Hora. The exhibition commemorates the arrival of the Jesuits and the founding of a home for their order. The building was later used as an army hospital, a military academy, the seat of a unit of the Protectorate-era army, and a regional automobile and tractor warehouse. Since its renovation and the revitalization of the surrounding areas, it has been the home of the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region. Visitors will get an insight into the history of a building whose ups and downs remind us that generosity and great ideas allow us to overcome adversity and time.
