The work of Martin Balcar is connected with Prague and Kutná Hora - Malešov. It belongs to the middle generation of authors who, besides their work in the field of book graphic, won several awards, also with free painting. Abstract compositions are based on real-world recordings and passing light reflections. In her latest series called Blind Mirror, she moves the theme of light transformation and examines the possibilities of mirroring on the painter's and metaphysical levels. Color compositions are testimony to the human mind and the general principles of the functioning of this world.
