František Mořic Nágl (1889 - 1944)

The exhibition will present the work of a painter whose life was closely related to Highlands and who painted the Moravian landscape and the environment in which he lived in his paintings (especially watercolours). Nágl captured, for example, the countryside around Telč, motifs from Brno and Jihlava, and later the environment and life in the Terezín ghetto, where he was deported in 1942 with his whole family.
