Magic constitutes a ritualized representation of emotion, which is useful not becuase it brings about catharsis but purely in itself. Faith is its presumption, it is based on mystery and built on a psychological convincingness. If the meaning of an artwork is to keep emotion concentrated and unfulfilled, then it follows principles of magic - it does not represent but manifests.

Just at this moment a triple of young authors of younger generations meets in an exceptional way - graphic artist Lenka Falušiová, photographer Jan Maštera and painter Jan Uldrych. What connects them on a first sight is their theme (landscape), emphasis on effect and precise technical accomplishment. All three chosen cycles are visually generous, highly aesthetical and expressive. They are playing for an image - for what it is, if an articulated expression of intelect or of uncontrollable feeling. And they are the proof that aesthetical experience can be highly cognitive and rational, though with emotion in its core.
