Curator: Zsófia Kiss-Szemán, Zuzana Štěpanovičová
The exhibition aims to capture the most important tendencies in the development of the fine arts that have been instrumental in the formation of the character of artistic life in Slovakia since the late 20th century to this day. The exhibition will present seventy art works by over fifty artists, both in traditional and new media, from the collections of the Bratislava City Gallery, which is, with the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava, among the most active Slovak galleries in the area of acquisition. A number of events for both adults and children accompany this project, which is the largest of its kind in the Czech Republic. Exhibition catalogue is available. The exhibition is an event organized within the Year of the Republic celebrations, under the auspices of the Slovak Institute in Prague, Governor of the Liberec Region, Martin Půta, and the Member of the Council of the Liberec Region, Ing. Květa Vinklátová.
